"Young people today face more challenges emotionally, morally, and intellectually, just one click away, than any generation that has ever existed. The formula is to teach kids how to think Christianly, but do it in the context of relationships and also give them practice and experience to live it out. And that’s exactly what Impact 360 does. So if you’re a parent, if you’re a youth leader, if you’re a teacher, get your students to Impact 360, because it’s a game-changer for their faith."

Sean McDowell
Speaker and Professor, Biola University

TOPICS THAT WILL BE COVERED

As with generations before them, it's not uncommon for students from Generation Z to have doubts about their faith. However, 32% of churchgoing teens say the church is not a safe place for them to explore their questions and express their doubts.

In this conversation, Alisa Childers and Jonathan Morrow sit down to talk about how walking through doubt can actually be beneficial in building a strong faith, and give some practical advice towards leading Gen Z through doubt and into discernment.

It’s no surprise that Gen Z students who grow up with intentional discipleship are taking the Bible’s moral principles to heart, while others look more like the broader culture. Often times, our students end up being discipled by the culture without even knowing it. In this conversation, Jonathan Morrow and Brett Kunkle discuss how to disciple Gen Z in all areas and at all stages of life.

Just like their millennial predecessors, Gen Z teens have expressed the desire for factual evidence to support their faith. The good news is the evidence is there. We simply have to help Gen Z build a faith that’s based on the facts. In this conversation, Jonathan Morrow speaks with cold-case homicide detective J. Warner Wallace about how to build a faith on what we have good reason to believe is true.

The topic of sexuality and gender is at the forefront of conversation in our culture today. And as a whole, Gen Z is confused on this topic. 33% of Gen Z teens say that gender is how someone feels, not their birth sex.

So how do we go about giving Gen Z a biblical framework from whence to talk gender and sexuality? In this conversation, Ryan Anderson and Jonathan Morrow discuss how we got here, and why it’s important to navigate this cultural moment with both truth and graciousness.

Generation Z will be the most racially and ethnically diverse generation in American history, but the underlying racial tension in our culture has again bubbled up to the surface. In this discussion, Seth & Nirva Ready, the artists behind the hit song “Brother”, talk with Jonathan Morrow about how the gospel compels us to be bridge builders by loving our neighbor, and give practical advice to pursuing unity in our communities.

Generation Z is known as a generation of tolerance. It's a beautiful quality. However, alongside a loving acceptance of those around them, Generation Z has also been given a false view of tolerance. Gen Z has heard that tolerance means accepting every idea or truth claim as equally valid - but is that what true tolerance is? In this talk, Biola University professor and apologist Sean McDowell tells us what tolerance really is, and shows how sometimes, telling someone the truth is the most loving thing you can do for them.

Our culture has been described as "post-Christian". As the role of religion diminishes in the public eye, so does the authority of the American Church. More than half of Gen Z teens say that church involvement is either “not at all” or “not too” important.

However, the Church has a unique discipleship opportunity with Generation Z. In this conversation, Jonathan Morrow and Todd Wagner discuss how to give Gen Z a healthy view of the Church.

In Barna's Gen Z Research, 37% of those interviewed said their gender/sexuality was very important to their sense of self. However, like many in our culture, Gen Z is often confused about how to think biblically about gender and sexuality. In this conversation, Dr. Christopher Yuan, author of Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, and Jonathan Morrow discuss what the Bible says about gender and sexuality, how to engage it with compassion, and how to lead Gen Z into a holy sexuality.
